Oh boy.

I don't even know what to say about this. I want to believe in the vim cult, but
emacs just has me under its thrall. It's precisely what I've been looking for
this whole time.

There's a lot of stuff here, but I've decided not to take the literate-config
approach just yet. This needs to mostly work on Windows, after all.
